My How To Adventures At The Edmonton Home And Garden Show

One of the reasons I went to the show this year, was so I could meet with some of the suppliers in person. It is easier for me to work with companies and people when I meet them in person and build a rapport with them.

This past weekend I spent the day with my parents at the Edmonton Home and Garden Show. I didn't want to take my daughters, we all know what would have happened if they went. It has been a few years since I have been to the show.  I couldn't believe how big the show has gotten. It took up 5 halls in the Expo Center.

We got there when it opened, I didn't think I was going to be able to see any of the guest speakers. Lucky for me that wasn't the case and I was able to see Tiffany Pratt; one of the host celebrities from HGTV Home to Win. I love the fact that she is the same in person as she is on TV. She stays true to who she is and has an amazing eye for design. I wish I was able to look at a space, the way she does.

Tiffany told us during her presentation "Your biggest problem in the space might not be what you think. Open your mind to new possibilities and what you can do with what you have." Which most of us have a hard time doing.

I was able to meet her after and joked with her to come and host a design show in Edmonton. I would love her help designing a room or two in my home.

Walking around the show I was able to see new and unique home products. Some of my favorites were: Trade Partner- Hidden Passages, which I could use to hide my own "Personal Space Room." As a mom, you would know what I would use it for. Quiet!!!

There were amazing outdoor living spaces which I would enjoy spending more time during the summer if only my backyard looked that good.

I saw my dream oven which I would design my dream kitchen around.

In the last exhibit hall, we entered the Tiny Home Village. The Village was amazing; how each tiny house was set up and maximized each space. My favorite tiny house was the Aurora by ZeroSquare.

It was a great afternoon spent with my parents.

I was able to see the products and suppliers up close. It definitely is an event for people to find companies that can help them fulfill their Home and Garden Dreams with the products and services to transform their homes into a new reality..
